‘Painful Foot Arch & Ankle’

The patient recently injured his lower back when lifting Boxes whilst his spine was in a forward bent position. He experienced lower back and calf pain when getting up out of bed the following morning and has been suffering from these symptoms ever since. He is continuing to work his day job but is suffering daily from this constant lower back and calf pain.

Aggravating Activities

  • Bending forward causes Lower Back Pain and relieved by extending the spine into an upright standing position.

  • Slouching sitting posture in a chair brings on lower back pain & calf pain occurs also if the knee is extended into a straight leg position.

  • Patient notes no pain with walking, sitting upright and when lying in bed on their stomach.

  • Pain into the lower back and calf re-occurs with sitting for long durations

  • Long back feels stiff in morning time.
